POLICIES

TUITION

1. MGA offers 2 payment options for your tuition:

    Pay in Full:  Pay the entire session (5 months) in full at registration and receive a 5% discount.
    Monthly:       Pay month to month by cash, check or credit card.   If you choose to leave
                           a credit card on file,  only one month's tuition must be paid at registration and
                           the remaining months will be deducted automatically from your credit card
                           account.  If not, you must pay the first and last month's tuition at registration and
                           the additional tuition will be due monthly.  
                          *Due dates for these payments are marked on our class calendar. 

2. Credit cards only, NO BANK or DEBIT CARDS to be left on file.  If your payment is not
    received by the payment date, you authorize Massapequa Gymnastics Academy to use your
    credit card and agree to be responsible for the payments.  If for any reason the card is
    declined, a $25 fee will be charged to your account.
3.  If your payment is not made on time, your child will automatically be withdrawn from our
     program and his/her class slot will be given to someone on our waiting list. 


REGISTRATION FEE
A $35 registration fee is required for all students.   This is an annual fee and good from September through August.  This fee includes a secondary insurance policy.  In the event an injury occurs, it will cover anything your primary insurance policy does not cover.  This fee is non-refundable.

MAKE UP POLICY
Absolutely no reduction of class fees will be made.  If a class is missed for any reason, you may request a make up class.  These make up classes will be scheduled with our office staff and will be set up on a different day and time than the one you are registered for. They also must be made up while enrolled in the summer session and cannot be carried over to the following session. 

WITHDRAWAL POLICY
If you wish to withdraw from the program before your child's 5th class meets, you must give written notification to the office.  If you paid for more than the classes attended, you will be issued a refund for the remainder of the tuition minus the registration fee.  If you wish to withdraw after your child's 5th class meets, a  30 day written notification must be given to the office and you will be issued a credit  for the remaining classes unattended and no further charges  will be incurred.  The credit must be used within one year of the withdrawal date and is nontransferable.  All registration fees are non-refundable.  NO REFUNDS will be given for any missed classes.

DISCOUNTS
If 2 siblings are registered in the program, a 15% discount applies to both tuitions.  If 3 or more siblings are registered in the program, a 20% discount will be applied to all tuitions. 

RETURNED CHECKS

A $35 fee will be charge for any returned checks.

REFUND POLICY
If you withdraw your child before the 8 weeks are over, there will  be no refund given.  You will receive a credit for any remaining classes.   The credit must be used within one year of the withdrawal date and is nontransferable.  All registration fees are non-refundable.

ATTIRE
All female gymnasts and cheer / tumble students MUST wear a leotard to class and come with their hair tied back in a ponytail or braids.  Gym shorts or leggings may be worn over the leotard (no skirts).  All male gymnasts and tumblers must wear gym shorts or pants with a T-shirt or tank top tucked in.  (Shorts must have elastic waistband, no studs, buttons, snaps or buckles). All students can either wear socks or go barefoot.  For everyone's safety, no jewelry is allowed, except stud earrings, one's that do not hang.  Absolutely, NO HOOPS.
